Indiscriminate dumping of refuse in Ilorin. Ogundipe Toluwalope My tour through Taiwo, olorunsogo,Surulere, and Maraba revealed  heaps of refuse littering the streets of the metropolis which is very harmful to healthy living. Ogundipe Toluwalope observed that dumping of refuse on median separators and roadsides is not only an eye sore but constitute health risks. Although the state government's efforts to evacuate the waste on a daily basis is commendable,a cross section of people who spoke to me believes there should be a better option to waste disposal in Ilorin than exposing human wastes to the public because of its health implication. For Kwara State to regain its lost glory of being one of the cleanest states, residents should advocate attitudinal change and stiffer punishment for violators.
