Elelu Lauds Oloriegbe's Contributions In Health Sector

The Executive Secretary, Kwara State Primary Health Care Development Agency (KWPHCDA). Dr. Nusirat Elelu has extolled the Senator representing Kwara Central at the Upper Chamber, who also doubles as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Health, Sen. Dr. Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe for his laudable efforts in equipping Badari Health Centre which was reconstructed in Ilorin West Local Government area.

This is contained in a statement made available to newsmen in Ilorin, Kwara State capital by the KWSPHCDA Scribe on the recent developments in Primary Health-Care across the state.

Dr. Elelu who appreciated the giant stride of His Excellency, the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq, stressed that the state government has been in forefront to ensure that quality health care service at grassroots is not jeopardised at any cost, especially during this testing period of unprecedented Covid19 pandemic.

She added that "with Senator Oloriegbe's immense contributions, the people of Badari Community, Ogidi Banni and other primary health care facilities would attract patronage in the facilities for prompt checkups and treatments.  And I strongly believe that with our experienced and trained health workers, good health service delivery is assured."

She urged the health workers and Community compatriots to take good care of the items donated such as hospital beds, mattresses, examination couches, suction machines, sterilizer, delivery couch, centrifuge manual vaccum, stretchers, malaria RDT kits, motorbike, generators, refrigerators, binocular microscopes and stethoscopes. These items are complimentary to the huge investments of government in the health sector.

"If these items are properly used and maintained, it would help the people not only in the community, but also neighboring communities to address health related problems and keep the society hale and hearty," she added.

She also urged the community especially women and children to make judicious use of the well equipped facility to justify the huge investment of government in their community she concluded.
