S.M.I.L.E CHANGE CHAMPION EMERGES AS ONE-DAY GOVERNOR OF LAGOS STATE

Words cannot fully explain how proud we are of our distinct 17 year old Change Champion, Miss Jemimah Marcus, a graduate of S.M.I.L.E's 2019 Young Leaders Mentoring Program, who emerged as the winner of the 2020 edition of the Lagos State Spelling Bee competition for public secondary school students, thereby earning her the honour to become the one-day Governor of Lagos State, yesterday December 20, 2021.


Jemimah was S.M.I.L.E’s 2019 Change Champions Governor for Angus Memorial Senior High School, she was also S.M.I.L.E’s  2019 Young Leaders Mentoring Program Academic Excellence Award Recipient 

and the 2020 Social Officer for S.M.I.L.E’s Change Champions Alumni.

We are so thrilled at her contributions during her brief tenure particularly for requesting that the state government commit more investment in digital literacy across public schools.  


We are super proud of our dear Governor.

The Zazu Zeh star took to his official Instagram page moments to show off the new car he bought for his car, a Toyota Camry.
