 Two Feared Dead In UNILORIN Autocrash







TWO PEOPLE HAVE BEEN REPORTED DEAD IN AN ACCIDENT THAT OCCURED ALONG THE UNIVERSITY OF ILORIN (UNILORIN) ROAD.

Gatekeepers News reports that No fewer than two people have been reported dead and several injured in a motor accident along the University of Ilorin, Unilorin road.

 

An eyewitness who pleaded anonymity said, “A private car (alleged to be overspeeding) hit a korope.”


“Some of the passengers suffered broken bones and fractures, Terrible injuries.”


The accident was said to have occurred along the Veterinary Medicine/Quarters Bustop and the Unilorin dam.


The driver of the Korope and a woman in the vehicle have been reported dead.

By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
