KWARA STATE POLYTECHNIC MANAGEMENT AND THE STUDENTS' UNION GOVERNMENT VISIT THE CONCERNED COMMUNITY
The lajolo community was in a state of pandemonium which led to protest but was eventually curbed and the victims displayed to the public that they are law abiding citizens.
Sequel to the dissatisfied attitude displayed by the law enforcement agencies claiming two lives with one casualty at the lajolo community earlier on Saturday, 29 January 2022. The Newly Elected Executives and the Management commiserate with communers of the community and pledge their loyalty to make sure such incident will not occur again.
The Kwara State Polytechnic Rector ( Engr. Abduljimoh Muhammed), The Directorate of the Students Service (Dr Bolakale Ajadi), The NANS JCC chairman Kwara State axis, and The Newly Elected Students' Union Executives met with the families of the victims for a condolence greetings and to console the communers of lajolo community.
However, a meeting was scheduled to be held in the school including the management, the students' union representatives and selected individuals from the community to reach a concession on how to curb the illegal duties the law enforcement agencies continue to carry out without the due protocol.
Decision was made that proposal will be sent to the Kwara State Government stating that before any operation could be carried out, the concerned authorities must inform the school management, authorities and the Baale, Magajis within the school area and see that all protocol are observed as the Kwara State Polytechnic students are law abiding citizens. The management also testifies that the institution breeds no criminal nor cultism.debunking any rumor that the kwarapoly axis harbors criminals..
Agreement was also made that the corpse carted away by the law enforcement agencies be duly released to the families and every arrested individual during the unrest should be granted bail.

Nigeria students hope to see a better treatment from the government through their protocols guiding the law enforcement agencies, and may God be with families of the lost souls.
