New Olubadan announce by Kingmaker

The members of the Olubadan-in-Council have announced and endorsed the nomination of Dr Lekan Balogun as the next Olubadan of Ibadanland.


The development was disclosed by Osi Balogun of Ibadanland, High Chief Tajudeen Ajibola during a briefing on Wednesday in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

   Ajibola told newsmen that the decision by the kingmakers to make Dr Balogun the new Olubadan was in accordance with the tradition.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
