Dr. Nusirat Elelu Pays Homage To Alanamu, Pledges Support For Community Development

Executive Secretary Kwara State Primary Health Care Development Agency (KWPHCDA). Dr. Nusirat Elelu has renewed her commitment towards community development as she paid a visit to Alanamu in Ilorin West Local Government, Kwara State.

In a statement personally signed by her, she described the august visit as a due honor for the host community and also a drive to seeking the grassroots support and cooperation towards primary health care schemes embarked upon by the Kwara State Government.

"I wish to appreciate Intellectual Youth Development Forum (IYDF) for their unflinching supports that I have been earning right from time. I enjoin every single member of this community to keep their heads up and be hopeful of a better living condition as the government is indebted to you, and would never renege on its promise to give healthy life the society deserves. Furthermore, I implore the vulnerable members of the community to enrol for State supported Basic HealthCare Provision Fund health insurance scheme, as the Alanamu Basic Health Centre has been renovated and well equipped to provide quality health services" she added.

In response, the President of the Intellect Youth Development Forum (IYDF), Mallam Sulyman Akata, on behalf of the entire community extolled the KWSPHCDA Scribe for honoring its invitation and for the scholarship intervention.

He described Dr. Elelu as a divine blessing and a source of inspiration to the youths in the community, acknowledging her impactful contributions in the shortest period of her appointment to improve health of Kwarans at the grassroot.

He charged Dr. Elelu to remain focussed and pragmatic in her commitment to ensuring Kwarans across lands and borders have a taste of developmental strides of the Agency she's privileged to head, adding to Primary Health Care is a very sensitive sector the government needs to invest in, no matter the cost.
