KWASU MANAGEMENT BANS STUDENTS' VEHICLES ON CAMPUS

The Vice Chancellor, Kwara State University, Prof. Muhammed Mustapha Akanbi SAN has directed that from Monday, 14th February, 2022, no student will be allowed to bring or drive any vehicle within our campus.

This declaration was made when he inaugurated the Committee on Compliance and Enforcement on Tuesday 8th February, 2022.

This has become necessary in view of the fact that Management observed that our roads have become a race course where students drive at nerve breaking speed thus constituting nuisance on our campus.

In view of this, Management, therefore resolved to enshrine sanity and orderliness on our campus and most especially save the lives of our dear students from incessant ghastly motor accidents as well as discourage the use of vehicles as a tool of oppression among students.

Students are advised to ensure compliance, as no student vehicle will be allowed on campus under any guise. Please note that there will be sanctions for any erring student in this regard.

Thank you.
