 Abati/Alara ward urges State Government to rehabilitate bridge

Residents of Abati/Alara Ward, Ilorin, the State Capital has urged the Kwara State Government, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq to help them rehabilitate their bridge situated at Onisapa along old jebba road.


According to the Secretary of the Community, Mallam Abdulkareem said that the situation of the bridge had seriously affected the economic of the community as farmers find it hard to transport their goods to the market. 


He therefore urged the State Government to look into the problem facing the community.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
