 Agbede Community decries over poor power supply

Residents of Agbede, Moro Local Government Area of Kwara State, have decried over the the lack of electricity in the area. 


The Community Head, Mallam Haruna Aweda who cried out to the government to intervene in providing a good power supply, said the major problem in the community is unstable and epileptic power supply which has put the residents in total frustration due to long time darkness.


The Community Head, who disclosed this in an interview, said that the community needs a transformer to regulate the epileptic power supply experiencing by the people living in the area, noting that different communties like Lajolo,Oke-Oyi and others are using the same obsolete transformer.


Speaking with one of the Students, Adenike who live in the community, complained on how she struggled to get her phone and rechargeable lamp charged due to the poor electricity. 


Also in the same vein, a trader in the community Abdulateef Zainab also lamented the poor epileptic power supply in the community which is mostly important to the life of human, attributing the poor electricity to the backwardness of her business and the community to a lower level.
