Agbede Community decries over poor drainage system

Residents of Agbede, Moro Local Government Area of Kwara State, have decried over the lack of drainage system which is causing excessive flooding during raining season in the area.
The Magaji Agbede, Mallam Haruna Aweda cried out to the government to intervene in providing good drainage system in the community.
The village head who made this appeal during interview, said that the community needs proper drainage system to control floods and erosion in the area.
The village head furthered revealed that there are also no good roads in the community to link up other communities which is to benefit the masses, which according to him if upgraded, would also improve the economics activities of the area.
Mr Haruna Awede noted that the community will be grateful if if government listen to them and consider their request and provide with good drainage system and good roads.
One of the residents, Mr Imam Idris further explained on how terrible it is during raining season, adding that because of poor drainage system in the community, floods and erosion tends to keep happening, urged fir the government urgent intervention.
