A student of Kwara state polytechnic, Ilorin calls the attention of the school management to pollution caused by residents of Agbede and the harms it could cause if not attended to.
In an interview with the student, Jamiu Lukman stated that the air pollution disturbing the school lately is caused by the nearby village.
Jamiu furthered that the stink of the malodorous smell coming come the village is harmful to the health of the students and it needs to be taken care of.
Lukmon added that, "We are supposed to be in a conducive and safe environment in order to be healthy and study to achieve our aim of being school".
However, Jamiu appeal to the school management to look into the issue and provide a lasting solution to it.
I believe educating the residents on this subject matter could be a proactive measure
ReplyDeleteIt’s very bad habit whereas you need to educate the villagers on how to dispose all there refuse so it wouldn’t disturb standard of living of every student living around the community so therefore student union that live that society should delegate some body to regulate that school manage might have nothing to says about that because they would bring hostel for excuse
ReplyDeleteThis needs to be looked into immediately in other to avoid health issues.
ReplyDeleteCleanliness is next to godliness is not just a saying but now it goes beyond this to imply thus: cleanliness is next to better health. In accordance with this saying, students need to be conscious of their hygiene, their environment, and health. A countable number of infectious diseases evolve as a result of poor environmental management. Therefore, living in a malodorous or pungent environment is one of the major factors that can hinder the students success in all ramification. As regard the school, one of the attributes of a standard school is making the environment conducive for the students.
ReplyDeleteI'll urge any authority responsible for the total wellbeing of the students to implement the best approach to curb the foreseen calamity between the school, the students, and the community before it get of hand.
The school management in terms of students welfare and the villagers should take proper care of this in order not to affect the students health and them as well later if proper steps are not taking to solve this issues...
