 An Ilorin base legal practitioner John Ifeolu has call for quity for Girl child, as a libration for Female folks

Going by the  Statistics of the United Nations Children's Fund ,UNICEF, Nigeria has eighteen point five million out of school children with sixty percent of girls


Barrister John Ifeolu said both male and female child have Destiny to fulfill so one should not be taking as an advantage to the other.

.


This required the need for relevant authorities and stakeholders to intensify efforts on how the girl child will not lag behind and be on the same pedestrian with her male counterpart to ensure the girl child achieve all the expected and desired goals.



Over the years, the International day of the girl child beams light on the need to recognize the rights of the girl child as well as the challenges faced by her in the society 


My interaction with Hanifa Habib shows that she must be a brilliant girl but she is a drop out. according to her, all she could do is to help her parent in hawking and hope for  a better future.


It is not strange to say that neglecting a girl child at early age expose her to ilitracy, sexual harassment,  drug abuse, domestic violence, and the likes


As the world marks the International day of the girl child,  it is necessary to respect the right of girl child because recognizing the rights of the girl child is recognizing the future of women and  as such the world will become a better place for all.

By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
