 ARA RESIDENCE LAMENTS ON FOOD INCREMENT.

Residence of Ara community has lamented over the rate of increase in prices of food stuffs and other commodities. 


A resident,Mrs. Abdulrasheed Omotayo has cried out  that food stuffs and other commodities like cassava flack(Garri), beans,rice, pepper etc and other commodities prices  too expensive in the area than other places. 



She however called the immediate immediate attention of stakeholders and head of the community(Alagua) to take proper steps about the situation before it becomes something unbearable for the residence of the community including the students living in the area. 


She furthermore urged the community leader(Alagua) to make announcement to all business enterprises around the area and all traders to be selfless,compassionate, just, and be truthful with their dealings to their customers.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety. Prof. Mustapha said the buses will begin it operation today onward with ticket policing in which the charges of transport within campus is #30 while from TARMAC to school premises is #50.
