 Ara resident laments over high payment of apartment

The residents of Ara lamented over high payments of apartments, in an interview with one of the resident musa Mubarak,he disclosed that landlords and letting agents increases apartments fees without considering the students.


He further stated that, landlords and letting agents knows that one of the problems kwara state polytechnic students faces is accommodation, due to the population of the students,he said landlords and letting agents takes the advantage of students who needs accommodation by increasing their payment.


According to musa, he disclosed that some students are not from a wealthy home, and many of them can’t afford 60 thousand naira and more for house rents. 


He however urged the landlords and letting agents to reduce hostel fees, and consider students who are less privileged in their decision.

By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
