 Ara residents decried over unbearable increase in house rents by landlords.

 As injustice is now a perception in Ara, kwara state polytechnic students who lives in Ara wailing over the hash inconsideration of the villagers to them.



According to the report gathered from the students, sky rocking of house rent as been a major issue students are batteling with, in an interview with Temitayo Mayowa a student of kwara state polytechnic said a particular villa's price was sky rocked from 55 thousand to 90 thousand naira, without a renovational reason and some of the hostels are not convenient for students and this made most of the students in the village to voice out for the induction of student union to work on this for the convenience of the students living in the community.


She however urged the landlords and letting agents to always consider the students before increasing house fees, and call on students union government to come to their aide.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof.
