ARA STUDENT WAILS OVER EPILEPTIC POWER SUPPLY

   Students residing in the Ara community have lamented over the poor electricity supply in the district as it affects their studies.

    According to Adewale Ayo, one of the students explained that it is going to be two months now since they have had light last, as IBEDC is not doing anything about it, and his phone was stolen as a result of charging outside 

     Another student oloyede Ruth also stated that the ineptitude electricity supply also affects her hostel because of the neighbor's generators' noise that's affecting her study.

     The students urge the community leaders to look into these issues and find solutions to them.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety. Prof. Mustapha said the buses will begin it operation today onward with ticket policing in which the charges of transport within campus is #30 while from TARMAC to school premises is #50.
