 Arugbo Oniwiridi celebrates her annual Maolid Nabiyy

The Zawiyat Abi-Li-Faedot Tijaniyant, Arugbo ‘N’ Pakata, Ilorin, kwara state on Thursday celebrated her annual maolud Nabiyy, which marks the birthday of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).


The program which was lead by Fadhilat SHEIKH MUQADAM IBRAHIM IBN ABDULSALAM took place at Oniwiridi Compound Pakata ilorin Kwara state.



During the maolud sermon, Sheikh Ibrahim prayed for Nigeria and kwara state at large.


He enjoined everyone who attended the program to get close to Almighty Allah because no one knows the time when death will come, using Sheikh Aboto who died in a fatal motor accident on Sunday as an example.



The Islamic scholar also advised Muslims to seize the opportunity of the celebration of the birthday of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) to strengthen their love towards one another and make the society a better place with unity and stability.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
