The residents of Eleko community appealed to kwara state government to come to their aid in rehabilitating the bad road in their area.


The recent rainfalls worsened the condition of the road and made it inaccessible by motorist. 


The residents call on the government to attend to the road as it is already affecting movement of people and goods thereby affecting smooth running of business activities in the area.


In an interview with a resident, Mr Sallaudeen Abbass claims the road condition is affecting his car which he has to be spending on every time. In his word " this bad road is giving my car problems and I have to be spending money on it every now and then", .


he however appealed to the kwara state government to come to their aide least grade the road for smooth movement of people and goods.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
