 BLOCKS VENDER GRIEVES ON LOW PRODUCTION OVER HIKE IN CEMENT PRICE.

A business man by his name, Mr. Ismail Olanrewaju complains over poor production of blocks due to hike in cement price.


During our interview with him at Oyun, Ilorin Kwara State on the 15th, October,2022, He said, "This country is worsening everyday under the watch of our Government, even to build house now is very difficult not to talk of building shops.


 Some years back,we sell one block for One hundred and twenty naira (120) but now it's around Three hundred naira(300)", he added.


"The patronage we get these days are very low, people can not afford to buy the blocks, any moment our customers patronize to buy the block, immediately we give them price, they quickly take their leave without even negotiating", Mr Ismail Added.


He lastly appealed to the Govt to consider their well being and be mindful that, they also have family to cater for at home. 

The Government should take the price on cement down to increase our patronage, Mr Olanrewaju explained.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof.
