The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Kwara Central Senatorial District, Former Minister For Youths and Sports Development, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi has commiserated with the Ilorin-born Businesswoman, Hajia Muinat Bola Shagaya over the passing of her dear mother, Alhaja Saadatu Abdulraheem who died on Sunday October 9, 2022.


Abdullahi, in a condolence message on teusday, described the deceased as an accomplished mother, a pious muslim and a revered community leader.


Abdullah said that The passing of Alhaja Saadatu Abdulraheem will leave a great vacuum in the community. It is a sad loss to the Ilorin Emirate. 

Adding that the sympathise with his dear sister Hajia Muinat Bola Shagaya.


Abdullahi urged Hajia Shagaya and the entire Bakini family to take solace in the understanding that the deceased lived a simple life dedicated to the betterment of humanity and committed to raising successful children who are equally of service to the community. He also prayed to Almighty Allah to grant peace to the soul of the departed and grant her jannah.

By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
