COMMUTER LAMENTS OVER ROAD CONDITION IN KILANKO, OFFA GARAGE

The residents and commuters of Kilanko area in Offa garage laments over the bad condition of their roads which adds to the traffic situation in the area and also led to ruining their drainage systems.
In an interview with a tricycle rider, Mr Hassan Olarewaju who is also the vice chairman of the Tricycle Owners Association of Nigeria, he talked about how the bad roads has led to him repairing his tricycle tires twice last month, likewise slowing down his business.
In another interview with a trader, Mrs Ibrahim Keji, she made it know to newsmen how much the bad roads has caused low sales in her business because of the poor drainage which makes water stagnant in front of her shop resulting in her customers leaving her for other competitors.
However, it is gathered that the bad roads has been a major problem in the community as it affect transporters, traders and other residents in the community.
Residents therefore urge the government for its swift intervention to repair their roads.
