 Dangiwa residents laments over lack of power supply

Residents of Dangiwa,oke-ose ilorin,kwara state on Friday laments over the poor power supply which is affecting the community and the students living there.


During an interview with the community leader,MR Sanni said it has been a year and some months the transformer got spoilt and they can’t afford to buy a new one, adding that the government should assist the community in getting a new transformer for them.


He furthered that petty traders and also some business owners are being affected and will be glad if the government can get a new one for them in the community.


The residents however urge the government to assist them in providing a transformer in the community.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
