 DELAY IN COLLECTION OF CERTIFICATE BY STUDENTS

The Senior Assistant Registrar in Exams and Records Unit, Mr Isha Rafiu Awoye has  relayed in his statement that the delay in certificate collection of Kwara state polytechnic was as a result of non challant attitude of the Students and the newly introduced electronic certificate.

He said this in an interview conducted by one of our correspondent


  He further said that some of the  students left invalid detailed information about themselves when they were in school,which has been a challenges to the management.


  He added that the e-certificate will help to limit the forgeries of certificate will be more secured,adding that the electronic certificate will help to provide student information that graduated from the polytechnic.


He advised every student of the polytechnic to get their certificate, not to wait till when they need the certificate urgently.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
