 DPR close a filling station at sango on the issue of licence renewal.

The Directorate of Petroleum Resources have close a filling station at sango area of Ilorin on the issue of licence renewal.


The licence renewal is expected to be made yearly and failure to do so leads to filling station closure. 


The Director of the filling station Shola Ayodele said the debt was owed by the owner of the filling station unknown to him before the petrol station was lease to him


Mr Shola Ayodele has promise to settle the debt to avoid collapse of his business.


The DPR however warn other petrol station to pay there dues on time to avoid any ambarrasment from the DPR.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
