 Drainage system: Olunlade residents call on state government.

A call has gone to the Kwara State Government by residents of Olunlade, Ilorin Kwara State over provision of drainage system for them in the area. 


The residents said they have been facing erosion challenges especially during the raining season, lamenting that they always witness excessive flooding during this time. 


In an interview with one of the resident, Mrs Adeyemi Olamide, said the erosion was as a result of lack of good drainage system which according to her has destroyed many properties in the area. 


She however urged the government to please come to their aid in providing immediate and adequate solution to their problem before it get worse.

    Government should pls attend to this matter asap. The life of the residents are at stake. Erosion is not a good thing to experience

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.
