 DSS NABS SOLDIER FOR LACK OF CONTENTMENT.

A soldier attached to the Muhammad Buhari Cantonment in Tungan Maje in FCT has been arrested by operatives of the Department of State Sevices (DSS) for allegedly hiring out and selling guns to kidnappers.                              


The officer who was identified as Cpl Nafiu Isahe was arrested on 9th of October 2022, around Dankogi park in Zuba, in collaboration with members of the Vigilante group of Nigeria in the area.     



It was reported that he hired a gun to the kidnappers for 300,000 in one operation, and in another instance, he received 200,000 for the guns. Unfortunately for him, the kidnappers were arrested and they mention him as their gun supplier.                                


The DSS then instructed the kidnappers to contact him for another deal to supply them with AK 47 rifles, to buy at the rate of three million naira, which resulted in his arrest as the DSS officers went to the agreed site in Zuba and took position till his arrival.                              


The soldier was said to have arrived in his car to present the arms and security men swoop on him and recovered an AK 47 rifle as well as a fully loaded magazine with 30 rounds of ammunition which were found in his car.

Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.
