 Eleko: Houses with no toilet make open defecation rampant - resident laments

A resident of Eleko, Kwara State, Mr saheed kamorudeen has lamented that houses built with no toilet has contributed immensely to the high rise of open defecation in the area. 

Mr. Kamorudeen who stated this in an interview with newsmen on Friday, said mismanagement of waste has also become rampant in the area which has bad effect on the environment   

He however called on stakeholders and head of the community to take proper steps about the situation before it become something unbearable that may start to cost people living in such surroundings their health and life.

He furthered urged the State Government to make announcement for people to put and end to open defecation and improper dumping of refuse, adding that there should  be lay down rules and punishment for violators.
