. Urged Landlords/landlady to provide cycle for refuse in the area

Students of Kwara State Polytechnic, residing at Eleko, has lamented over lack of toilets for them to excrete in many houses built in the area which has led to increase in open defecation. 


The students also decried that there is no provision for dumping refuse in the area which according to them

has contributed immensely to the high rate of flooding, burning and litters of the community entirely.


OKANLAWON SIMBIAT, firm the Department of Science Laboratory and Technology, stated in an interview that burning of refuse and dumping inside gutters in the community as become the order of the day. 


She however pleaded to the Head of the Community to take a proper steps before it's lead to excessive flooding, health issues and damages of properties. 


She also urged the state government to provide a Cycle for the disposal of the Refuses for them in the area.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
