 ELEKO'S FARMERS CONDEMN ACTIVITIES OF FULANI HERDSMEN ON FARMLAND

      The farmers in Eleko Yangan express the activities of Fulani herdsmen destroying their farmland resulting to loss of crops and also reduction in their productivity.

       Speaking with newsmen, the farmers accused the herdsman for the damaging their famerland, adding that they perpetuate when they are not on the farm.


      Furthermore, Nurudeen Abdulfatah stated that, they have countless number of clash with herdmen leading to death and injury.



 salaudeen Ibrahim,who was also a victim of the attack disclosed that he was injured at his chest last year, adding that he is still suffering from the attack.

        The t farmers urge the government to come to their aid in other to stop the activities of Fulani herdsmen on their farmland.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
