Elekoyangan residents laments on improperly dumping of refuse

The Elekoyangan community kwara state Ilorin, facing the issues of dumping of refuse improperly this could be as a result of no available resources that can enable them to manages there waste.

The streets of this community are filled with waste that are improperly manage which would affect their health, cause out break of diseases,water pollution,land pollution and blockage of drainage.

Mrs Olarewaju habibat who is a residence of the area for almost a decade said that the government environmental agency

had never come to the community and this is why residents uses an open field and front of their house for disposal of waste.

Speaking further the management should atleast provide waste van that can come to the community ones a week they either dig bighole to burn their their waste and at times dump there waste inside the waterway whenever it rains she also laments that the government of the states should provide waste can where they can dispose the waste probably
