Farmers agitate for Misdirection of government fund toward agricultural cost.

  The Farmers in asa local government area,ilorin ,kwara state,agitate for misdirection of government fund to the agricultural sector and poor implication of interventions by the federal government and taxation on inter_ state food transportation by federal and local government contributed to the increase of food price .

Prince simon ,who is also a farmer disclosed to news men to that challenges encounter by farmer in process of planting and harvesting of  crops,adding that  there is high in price of chemicals and fertilizer in the market that result in cost of farm products .

Simon further stressed that inadequate  government intervention towards farmers aid like financial support , provision of equipment like harvester and planter  to enhance the large farming,adding that erosion has washed away must of their products .

 

He how ever,stated that herdsmen and unknown gunman is major problem siting good land are far to the city and most of the place are occupied by herdsmen and  who are said know for kidnapping .

Prince simon charged the federal 

government to put an end to the challenges that is affecting large farming in nigeria,adding  that security issues should also be a priority.

In conclusion  he said we should take security serious and report any movement around you to the right authority or security agency
