The residents of Lajolo area of Moro Local Government area of Kwara State call on the state government to find lasting solution to their faulty transformer.

This was reported in an interview with newsmen on Monday,10th October 2022.

The residents complained how the neighboring communities have adequate power supply but otherwise in Lajolo.

“They even asked us to contribute N10,000 per house and I think none of the house has paid. Where do they want to see the money. You know this is a students area and it’s quite bad for you to tell students to start contributing for the transformer that is certain that it still going to develop another fault after repair. The best thing we want now is that the government should try to consider us and give us a new transformer” , Mr. Mathew a resident said.

He furthered that, students would start to desert the area if there is no lasting solution to the constant electricity problem.
