Flood damages Eleko community road

The residents of Eleko community in Ilorin have complained about the bad and non motorable road in their area. The heavy downpour has worsened the condition of the roads as a result of flooding.


The road which has been in bad state and neglected has crumbled business activities in the area, as many businesses and artisans have had to relocate.


The locals seek the government's intervention in grading of the road in order to ease the movement of people.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
