FTVF HOLDS CAREER TALKS ,DONATES SCHOOL UNIFORMS , BOOKS TO PUPILS OTHER ITEMS

A Non Governmental Organisation,Feed the Vulnerable Families in Nigeria Foundation(FTVF) has donated books, school bags , school uniforms and some other education materials to the pupils of Karumo Secondary School, Ilorin.The group also organised a Career Talk for the children to prepared them against future challenges .


Speaking at the venue of the event, the Team leader of FTVF, Abdulhameed Ridwanullahi explained that  FTVF is about humanitarian activities and assisting the less privileged people to give meaning to their lives.He also mentioned that," it is not only about giving out materials ,but we also organised lecture for the students in order to make them understand life better . 



However he advised the pupils to take their education very serious and never to allow any thing to cause distraction between them and their studies.


According to Mrs Haleema Gegele One of the resource persons explained that the essence of the programme was to ensure that the pupils were well educated on how to prepare for their future.She also mentioned that the pupils should be properly guided so that they can always be of help to others when they grow up.


According to her, "life is give and take. We should always help one another so that we can solve other people's problems".

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety. Prof. Mustapha said the buses will begin it operation today onward with ticket policing in which the charges of transport within campus is #30 while from TARMAC to school premises is #50.
