Chairman of Gaa Akuo community, Mr Isiak Opeyemi has made it public that residents of the community should be rest assured as there will be power supply in the community in few days time.
Isiak made this known after a discussion with the engineers that came to examine the transformer guaranteed him that they've identified the cause of damage and will be rectified soon.
According to Isiak, he stated that letter had already been written to the state government to render its support to get another transformer because the community had been fixing the transformer on their own so as not to result in students vacating rented apartments in the community.
He furthered that students should also try to watch out on the appliances they use because this also justify the demotion in functionality of the transformer being a 200KV capacity which is low to the number of houses and electric appliances in the community to supply proportionate power.
However, Isiak said he hope and pray the issue of darkness in the community will be sorted out in some days in order to retain student from not going else where for accommodation.
