 Suleiman gifts scholarship to agbabiaka community.

The Kwara state special assistant on political affairs, Hon. Suleiman Abubakar (Sai Kai)  gift scholarship to the pupils of agbabiaka community and its environs on Sunday 9th of October 2022.


This was made  known in an interview with the chairman of the community, Mal. Saidu Omotosho. Saidu claimed that Hon. Suleiman paid school fees of the pupils at the community which include, Kankakin, Agbabiaka, EkunleOba, Ile Alimi, Ile Onimalu, Ori oke and Agbede.  



He added that Suleimon didn't contest for any post in the forthcoming election, he just came as a messiah to the people of the community with his kind gesture. 


However, one of committee of Agbabiaka community, Engineer Nuhu Abdullah Popoola also said that Hajia Mariam Aladi who is contesting for the house of representatives also donated #50,000 to the community.


The communities therefore extend their appreciation to Suleimon for his kind act towards them.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

KWASU LUNCH 40 NEW SHUTTLE BUSES

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
