In celebration of annual maulid Nabiyu, the Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has congratulated all Muslim, on the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhmmad, urging  them to be faithful to emulate the great examples and legacies of  prophet Muhammad(SAW).


     He made this call at the  annual Maulid celebration  organised by the Kwara State Muslim Council under the chairmanship of the Emir of Ilorin Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari. 



     The governor emphasized on faithfulness and obidence to the commandments of Allah, and shunning all kinds of mischief which might disrupt public peace and humanity.



Abdulrahman however advised Kwarans to emulate the prophet behavior, and charged them to be a good ambassador of the state.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
