GRIDLOCK IN JAMB OFFICE OVER ADMISSION REGULARIZATION

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) office at Oyun in Ilorin Kwara State, has been congested with students from various higher institution in the state over poor server for admission regularization.
It will be recall that JAMB instructed every students who were offered illegitimate admission to any higher institution in Nigeria to proceed to any JAMB office nearer to them for condonment of their illegitimate admission towards reducing the rate of fake admission in Nigeria tertiary institutions.
However, students have been lamenting over the stress they pass through during the exercise as alleged to poor network and unethical behavior of some staff at JAMB center.
While speaking with Seyi simeon oladotun a student of Kwara state polytechnic, ilorin, he described the exercise as being biased and time consuming "I left home around 4am just to be among the first set of attendees but to my greatest surprise,I and my colleague who converge at same time,were left unattended to by the staff of the center,the staffs even went extra mile by bringing in some students who just came around 10am while we that were at the venue before them were denied access to the compound"
Another student from Kwara State University, Malete in Ilorin, Azeez Motunrayo shared her three-day experience at the center " .... this is my third- day here and we have been left under burning sun.I gained access to the compound around 10:30am and couldn't finish my registration. Though the network is bad but the personnel here are fun of favoritism..."
Meanwhile the students in their number have seeked immediate intervention from the board as the excercise is scheduled to close soon.
