An Okada man has cried out for help as one of the Okada Tax Collector threatened to kill him because of N100 at Oja-Oba roundabout, Ilorin, the State Capital. 


According to the Bike Rider, he said the tax-collector threatened to kill him if he refuses to pay his money for the ticket, adding that when he gave him fifty naira, he refused to collect it from him and stopped him from leaving the spot by removing his key which he tried to fight back.


 According tax-collector, he said something of a such never happened between them as he was only asking him to put on his jacket but the way he replied makes the situation worsen.



He attested to the fact that he removed his bike key, which according him was to teach him a lesson.


According to one Mr Sodiq who happens to be an eye witness of the whole scene said that the bikeman is not at fault but he sees the OKADA Tax-collector, as someone who wishes to use his power over the OKADA MAN. 


He called on to the concerned government agency to address the issue of how their agent addresses the commercial drivers, adding that it might becoming deteriorating.

    The government should see to this issues cos dis Tax collector's extort driver's alot most expecially in lag nd I think dat is d major cause of high rate of transportation fares

Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept.
