 Ilorin residents express grief over flooding

    In recent time flood has been everywhere throughout the entire state, Resident of Dangiwa, Oke-Ose, and Kwara Poly metropolises have lamented over the recent flood that has changed the lovely hood of the residents into a nightmare 


A Food stuff seller in Dangiwa, Mrs. Ajumanbi Rasheedat popularly known as (Iya Mariam), spoke with correspondence on Monday, and said, the flood has chased many students away from the community and the business in the area has turned into a devastating level.



    According to her “ The recent rainstorm damaged almost all the roads that lead to the area, due to this, cars who use to carry goods for us to the area are unable to pass to our area, and also the act of economy, socialization, and electricity in the area has come into a devastating level".

        A student in the area who live in Dangiwa, Ado Solomon, lamented that the flood mainly occur in the area because there is no drainage of water in the community, he added that going to school has been very hard for the student in recent time due to flood in the area

He however urges the community and the government to provide drainage in the community for the free flow of water.
