 Ilorin South agog, as Ikokoro family goes spiritual for Aluko as campaign flag-off

Ikokoro, the country home of the All Progressives Candidate for Ilorin South/East Federal Constituency, Hon. Ahmed Yinka Aluko was turned into a mecca of sort on Saturday as multitudes of supporters and dignitaries from various divides across the state and beyond thronged the venue of a special prayer session organized by the Ikokoro family geared towards a successful outing for their son, as 2023 electioneering campaign commence.



The event which turns Ilorin South Local Government agog was well attended by the members of the Ikokoro family, prominent Islamic scholars from the nooks and crannies of Ilorin, members of the business community, politicians and members of the diplomatic corps, among other well-wishers from across the state. 


The event was hosted by the Patriarch of the Ikokoro family ably represented by the Imam of the family, Sheik Eyitayo Ahmad Ikokoro and the council of Ulamaus, led by the Khalifat Sakama. 



The program was anchored by the Chief Imam of Saidu Alikali Mosque, Basin, Sheik Lukman Isale-koto and two different sermons were delivered by Sheik Umar Farouq Sohibul-bayan and Sheik Sulyman Kasandubu. 


Sheik Suleiman Kasandubu describes Aluko as an illustrious son of the community who has contributed immensely to the development of the community. He thereby sues Aluko to continue the cherished value he's known for, by prioritising the unity of the family as well as the wellness and growth of people in the community and state in general.


The event also hosted royal fathers from the three senatorial districts of the state. Among the royal fathers that attended in person are Olupako of Share Land, Oba Sulaiman, Olusin of Ijara Isin, Oba Ademola Julius, Balogun Afin, Daudu Asunnara, Magaji Atulunshe while others sent representatives.
