 IOT; the finest institute in Kwarapoly is set for Commission.

The newly built Institute of Technology (IOT) building in Kwara state polytechnic was Inspected by the NANS Kwara Executive Officio on the 14th October 2022.

The newly Elected Vice Chairman Academics of NANS, Comrade Benjamin Ayomide Fortunate said, the Building is ready and set for use from next session.



He further stated that the building is well equipped with necessary instrument,the learning facilities and environment is well organized and conducive for the students.


Comr Fortunate however stated that,The newly built building has a library,Conference hall,Directors Offices,Solar Power,Standby Generator and many more.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety. Prof. Mustapha said the buses will begin it operation today onward with ticket policing in which the charges of transport within campus is #30 while from TARMAC to school premises is #50.
