 Kwara Poly renovates campus light poles

The Kwara state polytechnic management have embarked on the renovation of the campus road light poles about 24days ago.



According to the Director,  Directorate of Student’s Service (DSS), Dr. Ajadi Bolakale Saheed, the renovation is one of the project of the rector to light up the school campus, especially for security of lives and properties.

One of the workers who were employed for the contract, Mr Oladimeji Adekola in an interview on Friday, said they are working hard as to complete the work as soon as possible. 



He furthered that they have covered 70% of the work and the remaining 30% will be completed in the period of two days. 


Oladimeji also expressed appreciation to the school management for giving him the opportunity to partake in the project. 



In his view, the purpose of this renovation is to beautify and improve the school campus security at night and also, for safety while driving in the campus at night.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

KWASU LUNCH 40 NEW SHUTTLE BUSES

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
