 KWARA POLYT STUDENTS LAMENTS ON HOUSE RENT INCREMENT

The Students of kwara state polytechnic has lamented on a shocking increment in house rent for students within the school axis.



The increment is to the fact that demands  on houses are high especially hostels within the school axis.



In our interview with one of the students,Khalid of  Exodus lodge at Eleko community,he said the house rent which was initially #75,000 has suddenly gone  up  to the sum of #100,000 and when a protest was raised,the landlord made it known  that change is constant and had stipulated in  rise of house rent.


He however urged the Landlords Association to please meet and deliberate on how to ease the tension on everybody

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

KWASU LUNCH 40 NEW SHUTTLE BUSES

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety. Prof. Mustapha said the buses will begin it operation today onward with ticket policing in which the charges of transport within campus is #30 while from TARMAC to school premises is #50.
