 Kwara state Commissioner for Works Attend and Declear Open, Two-days Training Workshop for Driving School.

Hon commissioner for works, Eng Rotimi Iliasu today grace and declear open a two-day training workshop tagged Train the Trainer.

The training will better inform the driving school owners on the need for efficiency in Training.


Eng Rotimi disclosed that over emphasizing the benefits of retraining our driving school instructors because it is their trained products that ply our roads. There is no guarantee that we will not be involved in accidents. 


The workshop is being held at the Ministry of works and transport through the vehicle inspection unit, which also has in attendance the Perm secretary kwara state ministry of works; Alh olorukoba Yinka, Directors, FRSC Officials,KWARTMA and Men of Fire Service Department


However, it is pertinent to ensure the driving school graduate good and qualified drivers to be licensed to ply the road after full knowledge of road signs and marking. Said the perm secretary.

By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety. Prof. Mustapha said the buses will begin it operation today onward with ticket policing in which the charges of transport within campus is #30 while from TARMAC to school premises is #50.
