Kwara state polytechnic set to hold her 27th convocation ceremony


The management of the Kwara state polytechnic has announce that it's 27th convocation ceremony will be holding from 16th-17th of October 2022.

After a brief discussion with the deputy director of the newly approved program of the polytechnic (ODFEL) he made it known to us that the convocation ceremony will be in grand style.


One of the performance to be expected in the ceremony is the exhibition of projects and research by different departments of the polytechnic.


The polytechnic urges every student to make themselves available for the event because possibly the event could be graced by the governor of Kwara state.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety.
