Kwarapoly:  Low turn out at our weekly congregation - MAMCOS Secretary

The Chief General Secretary of Muslim Association of Mass Communication Students( Mamcos) Mr. Musa Mikail on Wednesday said there is low turnout of people at their weekly congregation. 


When asked about his contribution so far the chief General Secretary said that his vision is to create progress, advice and to support the association financially which he is already achieving that.


He furthered said that his achievements in the association is to make the other members and executives to have unity among each other and be able to organize each other adding that they came up with the weekly due and told the people in charge to always meet the executives and collect their money


Speaking about his challenges, Mukail said they do not have a permanent venue for their congregation and enough praying mats amongst many others. 


He therefore advise the students to try as much as possible to put religion first in everything and always be a good ambassador.

By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety. Prof. Mustapha said the buses will begin it operation today onward with ticket policing in which the charges of transport within campus is #30 while from TARMAC to school premises is #50.
