The Management of Kwara State Polytechnic, has created a parking lot for students and visitors of the Polytechnic in order to avoid driving recklessly around the campus. 


The parking space was provided by the school roundabout close to the Student Union Building (SUB). 


 

However, some student of the Polytechnic have been reacting negatively to the development, saying it will be stressful for students to park at the roundabout and continue to trek to their various destinations. 


The however pleaded to the school management to provide a better and stress free option for the students.

    Each students parking should be created to each department close to their lecture room.

By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety. Prof. Mustapha said the buses will begin it operation today onward with ticket policing in which the charges of transport within campus is #30 while from TARMAC to school premises is #50.
