 Kwarapoly: Mass Comm holds first advertising pitching.

The department of mass communication, Kwara state polytechnic , Ilorin holds first advertising pitching at Admiral hall on Thursday 13th October, 2022.


One of the guests in attendance, Dr. Abulateef Yusuf, chairman Kwara state Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON) in his speech congratulates HND 1 students and advised them to stay focus. He also stated that once the department gains full accreditation, students of department will automatically be self employed advertising practitioners.


The director, directorate of student service (DSS) DR Ajadi Bolakale, commends the effort of the staff and students towards the development of the department and the institution at large. 



The production manager of kwara poly bread, Alhaja Alaya also commend the efforts of the students and expressed her excitement towards the performace of the students, most especially the ones that advertised Kwara poly bread and came first position in the presentation. 


The director of IICT 

DR Akewusola also advised the students to know what they are doing on campus and abide by the rules and regulations stated by the management.

 Lack of waste bin cause water pollution in Sahoo, residents decried. By: Muhammad Sanni Aisha  fauziyat Qozeem a resident of sahoo said people dump waste product inside the river in sahoo, particularly the villagers at night. Fauziyat further stated that the dumping of waste products inside the river, had caused water pollution in the area, and makes the community looks unkept. She however appeal to kwara state government, and all stakeholders in the community to provide them a suitable waste-bin, and urge the residents to make proper use of it when it provided.

  By Mariam Abdulkareem Kwara State University, Malete facilitates the transport system with (40) forty new shuttle buses to convey Students on campus as the varsity set to complete it's smart city hostel that has the capacity to accommodate nothing less than five thousand Students. KWASU Vice Chancellor, prof. Muhammad Mustapha Akanbi on the 31st of January, 2022 Commissioned the project and unveil the new buses today in name of KWASU administrators, Students and the committee incharge of the buses maintenance and safety. Prof. Mustapha said the buses will begin it operation today onward with ticket policing in which the charges of transport within campus is #30 while from TARMAC to school premises is #50.
